ABOUT US
Our Mission
Lead Global is a baptistic non-profit organization which exists to see African churches send African missionaries to the ends of the earth. We are a team of trainers who equip the church to reach the nations. We are not a sending agency, in that we do not fund or send missionaries. Rather, we believe that the church is responsible to raise up, support, and send out missionaries. We come along side of the churches to provide the training, coaching, and vision casting. In other words, we want to empower the senders and equip the saints.

Our Scope
Lead Global is located in Nairobi, Kenya but is active in outreach, support and training for East Africa as a region. Our focus at this time includes baptistic partners in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, and Central African Republic. Trainings at the Nairobi location are only in English at this time, but plans are underway to develop trainers and regional trainings in Swahili, French, and Arabic as well.
Our Vision
The Core Missionary Task (CMT) can be easily summarized in the following tasks: entry, evangelism, discipleship, church formation, leadership development, and exit to partnership—all done within the context of abiding in Christ. In our vision (which is actually God’s vision-see Rev 7:9), a multitude from every nation, tribe, people and language will learn to embrace this central task expected of all believers gathered together as the church. It is only when we stop making the Great Commission the responsibility of the few that we will truly see the knowledge of the glory of God fill the earth like the waters cover the seas (Hab 2:14).
- Entry means learning about the people and culture, making relationships, and approaching cross-cultural ministry with the awareness that sometimes different is just different, not wrong.” We want to help new believers become like Christ—not like us.
- Evangelism seems straightforward, but true faithful witness involves telling the FULL gospel in a way that hearers can understand and respond.
- Evangelism is not complete until Discipleship begins, because we are not told to make converts but to make disciples, teaching them to obey everything Jesus commanded.
- Church formation looks different depending on context, where the missionary works with churches where they exist, and where they gather new believers into new churches where a church does not yet exist.
- Leadership Development is necessary for any healthy church, as the essential roles of the church should be held by members of that community as soon as possible. This
includes men qualified to be pastors, and both men and women to lead the work of the
ministry in all segments of the community. - Exit to Partnership is the plan all along, with the missionary ready to move to new
areas once all components of the CMT are owned by the new believing community.
Ongoing coaching, support, and partnership ensure the faithful expansion of the Good
News of Jesus Christ.
